Theodore Joseph Cachey, 85, died Feb. 7, 2019, at his Hinsdale home. He was born in 1933 in Chicago and was a proud graduate of Mt. Carmel High School, the University of Michigan and Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. He was the founder of T.J. Cachey Builders and an active attorney for more than 50 years. He also served as a val- ued member of the Marquette Bank Board of Directors for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Noel King; and his brother, Felix (Doris). He is survived by his children, Theodore J. Jr. (Anna Maria), Carol, Thomas (Tana), Mary Jo (Michael) Kwasigroch, James and Colette (Thomas) Smithburg; his grandchildren, James Joan Grandy, 84, of Downers Grove, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away Jan. 21, 2019. Joan graduated from Fairview Park High School in Fairview Park, Ohio, in 1952. In 1957 Joan married Bob, her high school sweetheart, and in the early 1960s the couple moved from the Cleveland area to Hinsdale. Joan was very active in her son’s schools, serv- ing in the PTO and Cub Scouts and supporting their rec and high school sports teams. Joan also was passionate about the welfare of animals, serving for almost 20 years as a board member and volunteer for the Hinsdale Humane Society. Joan moved to Downers Grove in 1985. She She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Pope; and her brother, William “Bill.” She is survived by her children, Angelo (Michelle) Pope, Cynthia Pope-Romano, Cathleen Pope, Michael Pope and Elizabeth (Edward Tiesenga) Pope-Tiesenga; her grand- children, Heather (Jim) Busam, Anthony Pope, Michael James Pope, Daniel Romano Jr., Donald Romano, Amalia Romano, Elizabeth Romano, Alexander Romano, Alissa Pope, Michael Pope Elizabeth Joan Pope, nee Sullivan, 87, of Oak Brook died Feb. 10, 2019. Carol Ann Sawyer, 54, of Hinsdale, passed away Feb. 4, 2019, surrounded by family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Georgia Tangeman. She is survived by her husband, David Sawyer; and her siblings, Bruce (Betty) Tangeman, Brian (Linda Moats) Tangeman and Kathleen MariaVeronica, neePartipilo, 94, ofHinsdale passed away Feb. 8, 2019, in Burr Ridge. She was born in 1924 in Italy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Veronica.
